BDUESD Facilities Master Plan (FMP) Community Vision
In the Spring of 2024, Bonny Doon School District hired experts from Stacked, an architectural and engineering firm, to create a new multi-year Facilities Master Plan (FMP). They undertook an analysis of the status of the current school buildings, campus and community facilities and through multiple meetings gathered input and ideas from key stakeholders; staff, teachers, parents and community leaders.
The new FMP includes updates and improvements for the school buildings, the school campus and also the facilities available to and used by the wider resident community. View of a summary of the FMP.

Enrollment
Class Placement Policy
Because we are a very small school with only six classrooms, we are limited in the structure of our classes. Each year, we will have two or more mixed-age classes. Please see our Class Placement Policy to find out more about how we make decisions for these classes.
Emergency Procedures

Family Handbook
At the beginning of each year, parents receive a copy of the Family Handbook, a helpful guide to such things as school hours, how to communicate with staff, parents' rights and what to do in an emergency.
Wellness Policy
Schools play a vital role in childhood nutrition and fitness, and as part of the larger community, schools have a responsibility to promote family health and provide a strong foundation for the future health and well-being of their students. Significant research indicates a positive relationship between adequate nutrition and learning, resulting in academic success. Read more about the school's Wellness Guidelines.
Technology Plan
In order to get funding for their technology programs, every school must write a Technology Plan which cites the school's approach to technology and outlines the school's specific commitments as to how it will work to bring technology to its students. More about the school's technology program here.
