Dear Bonny Doon School Families,
I hope you are all enjoying the first week of summer break.
We have two more Town Hall Tuesdays planned (June 16, and 23). You can find the link to the town hall meetings on our website (bduesd.org). The town halls begin with a 15-20 minute presentation, which is updated with the latest information, followed by an open Q&A forum. While there are still many unknowns, your questions and feedback are important to our planning efforts.
Finally, our school garden is in need of support over the summer. Please let Kate Sommer ([email protected]) know if you are willing to come in and take care of chickens, weeding, mulch/compost, and extra watering. Without the students' preparations this spring and the cancelled work day, there is plenty of opportunity to help. Also we are looking for someone to support with irrigation troubleshooting. There are plums, berries and a few eggs in store for volunteers. Lastly, we want to acknowledge Orchard Keepers for donating their expertise to prune our school orchard!
