The potential for learning that is in every child is unique, and the key to discovering that potential is why I became a teacher. I am passionate about creating a warm, safe and loving environment that respects the diverse learning styles of all students. My ultimate goal is to create a creative and colorful classroom that honors each child’s abilities and interests. I believe in teaching authentically and integrating content – it makes learning and teaching more fun!

I am so excited to be a part of Bonny Doon School. The small community of parents, children and teachers is an idyllic space, and I feel blessed to be a part of it.

I grew up in the mountains of Arizona but traded it for the Santa Cruz Mountains after graduating college. Most of my time is spent with my husband, three kids and dog, and when I can, my favorite thing to do with them is soaking up the natural beauty of this area by going on long walks or camping.
